Teavigo® is obtained from the leaves of Chinese tea (Camellia sinensis) and is rich in natural, pure catechins. These polyphenols have been shown to provide numerous biochemical and physiological benefits.

Although there are more than 3,000 types of tea, all of them originate from the evergreen Camellia sinensis plant, classified as green tea (unfermented), oolong tea (partially fermented), and black tea (fully fermented).

Partially and fully fermented teas are brown because fermentation activates enzymatic oxidation or biochemical reactions of proteins contained in the tea. Green tea is quickly dried, which deactivates enzymes, allowing it to retain its natural green color and high catechin content. The polyphenols in tea are mainly catechins, which make up about 20% of the leaves and are responsible for many of green tea’s health‑supporting properties.

Tea polyphenols are widely used in food, cosmetics, supplements, and pharmaceuticals.

Directions for use: Take 1 capsule twice daily. Do not consume on an empty stomach.
